Please read all information regarding playing and entering a team in the Waverley Basketball Association's Competitions. On submission of form and payment, teams agree to the terms and conditions.
Team Representatives, or persons responsible for the team, must ensure all members and guests attending are familiar with Basketball Victoria's 'CODE OF CONDUCT' for Players, Spectators, Administrators, Coaches and Parents.
Waverley Basketball Association conducts all matches according to the rules as stated by FIBA, the worlds governing body of basketball. For a copy of the official Basketball Rules book visit www.fiba.com

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By submission of Team entry and payment, Teams agree to WBA Rules and Regulations.
To enter an existing team, representatives will be provided a link from the competition manager to log into PlayHQ, register their team for the upcoming season, and make payment online. If you do not receive the link, please contact the WBA office during business hours.
To enter a new team, representatives must complete a paper based registration form with players names and submit with payment of entry and bond. All WBA senior men's competitions are running at capacity, so there will only be space available in sections when an existing team withdraws.

Waverley Basketball Senior Men Domestic Competitions are operating at capacity. The amount of spaces available for new teams is dependent on the number of current teams that do not continue next season. For example, if five Monday teams decide to stop playing, five spots will be available and will be assigned to the first five teams with complete entry and payment submitted for Monday competition. This process is repeated for each night of competition.
WBA also has a list of teams on the waiting list who missed out playing this summer 2019 / 2020 season. Many of these teams have already submitted their forms and payment. If you would like to be included on this waiting list, please read the terms and conditions, complete a registration form found on this page and submit it with payment at your earliest opportunity. We request this in person so that we retain your entry for potential refunds.
New teams will not be accepted and allocated to schedules until the week of 13th March to 20th March, so you may not have any response or confirmation of being accepted into the competition until this time.
