Under 14.5 Boys Make Finals

The Under 14.5 Boys had a quality weekend at the Australia Day Tournament, making it through to the finals. Thanks to Jackie for sending in the following report and photo.

Our boys started the weekend with a narrow win over Ringwood by 1 point on Friday night and followed it up with an 8 point defeat of Eltham on Saturday morning. This was followed by a nail biting draw with Bulleen in the afternoon. Sunday was a mixed bag with a win over Diamond Valley by 7 in the morning and a hammering at the hands of Darebin that night, going down by 32 points! Very close games on Monday with a 2 point loss to Collingwood in the morning and a 3 point loss to Bulleen in the semis. Overall a great effort by the boys, and an enjoyable weekend for the parents. Thanks to our coach, David for his strong leadership and efforts during the tournament. We look forward to watching the boys develop further throughout the seasons - Go Falcons!!
