Under 12.3 Girls Undefeated Weekend

 The Under 12.3 Girls had a fantastic weekend, going undefeated through the tournament en route to a Grand Final win.

The team is coached by Tania Gunther and is an entirely lower age team, with girls who have been a part of the Waverley Development program before graduating to Representative Basketball this season.

After mostly comfortable wins in the round games, with a few closer ones thrown in, the girls were made to work harder in the finals games, defeated Ringwood 13-8 in the semi final, before getting past Oakleigh in the Grand Final, with the score once again 13-8.

It is a great achievement for the girls as they continue to learn and develop, and hopefully they can take this good form into the next grading phase.
