16.4 Girls Win Melbourne Tigers Tournament

 The Under 16.4 Girls took on the Melbourne Tigers tournament on the weekend with some fantastic results, culminating in a win in the Grand Final. Thanks to Donna Jevric for the photo and wrap of the weekend:

Waverley Falcons Girls U16 4s had a tremendous tournament. Losing only one game by 2 points to Casey, the girls consolidated top spot on the ladder with 3 terrific wins, under coach Fau-Zii Chan. Into the Grand Final against Keysborough, Waverley got away with a strong lead at half time, only to have Keysborough clawing their way back to get within 10 points. Our girls kept to their game winning 40/29. A great tournament with a fantastic outcome. Congratulations to Tess O'Donnell voted MVP.
