Expressions of Interest - Tribunal Members

The WBA Tribunal hears reports submitted against players, coaches and spectators involved in WBA competitions. The tribunal comprises a small group of volunteers who rotate as required to ensure all reports are heard in a timely manner. Reports are received on an adhoc basis, with members required to sit on tribunals at the WBA stadium about once every six to eight weeks. As it is an honorary position, there is no payment made to tribunal members.

 

Attributes required for this position are as follows:

·        Independent (i.e., no conflicts of interest within WBA)

·        Broad life experience

·        Sound judgement

·        Good decision-making skills

·        An understanding of the game of basketball would be beneficial, but is not essential

·        No tribunal experience necessary
