IMPORTANT: COVID-19 Update

Dear Members,
As of 5.00 pm today, the Waverley Basketball Association will be closed due to the COVID-19 virus. Until further notice, all junior and senior basketball domestic competitions are suspended, as well as all training, extra programs and casual shooting.
As per Basketball Victoria’s instructions the following competitions will also be suspended; VJBL and Big V. Please refer to the Basketball Victoria website for further information.
WBA will continue to update its members on any further actions and instructions via our website and social media to ensure everyone is kept up to date. WBA has not received any confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus from any of its members, the decision to close is simply a preventative measure
As WBA semi finals will not be conducted this weekend, the Summer 19/20 finals series will not be commencing and the season has now officially finished. The team who has finished on top of their section will be deemed premiers.
