The Waverley u18.1 Boys had a fantastic easter weekend winning 4 of 5 games played at the Adelaide easter classic in the championship division advancing to the grand final beating Sturt by 3 in overtime in the semi final 66-63 and Kilsyth by 3 points 70-67 in the grand final. It was a fantastic team building weekend the boys spent the weekend together and all players showed glimpses of there potential. We have a lot of work ahead of us in preparation of the National Junior Classic & Victorian Championship finals later on in the year, the weekends games has shown us what areas we need to improve on to move forward in a positive direction. A special thanks to all players & parents for there commitment to making the weekend a success.
