The Waverley Falcons Big V State Championship Men and Women have wrapped up their pre-season in impressive fashion, with both teams taking out the Big V Pre-Season Tournament Grand Finals at Dandenong on Labour Day Weekend.

The State Championship Men were impressive throughout the tournament, putting together some solid wins, as well as the occasional close win, before defeating Casey in the Grand Final by double figures.

It was a closer game in the women's Grand Final, however the Falcons were able to get over the line against Under 18 Vic Metro, reversing the result from earlier in the weekend when the metro girls got the win.

The Big V State Championship teams get started this weekend with a fantastic home double header against Bulleen. Come and see the Falcons stars as they look to get their season off to a good start.
