Finals Qualifications Information

As Finals approach for our Junior and Senior Domestic Competitions, teams are reminded to be aware of their qualification lists and requirements.

WBA SENIOR DOMESTIC

Finals qualification lists are updated weekly and are available in the 'Senior Domestic' section of the website, as well as at the stadium on the night of your game.

Players must play in at least eight games during the season to qualify for finals. Byes count towards qualification, as do games where your opposition gives a walkover. Only players who are already registered can receive qualification in these cases, it does not work retroactively.

If qualified players are absent during finals games, special consideration may be granted if the team is left with fewer than six qualified players. This will be dependent on circumstances and teams may be asked to provide proof of players' inavailability. Teams are not guarenteed extra players, it is judged on a case by case basis and the fairness and equlaity of the competition must be maintained at all times.

Players who were registered at the beginning of the season and have missed significant time due to injury or illness may be given special consideration if a medical certificate is provided.

Teams must contact the office PRIOR to the final round of the regular season to request special consideration for qualification. Requests or queries lodged fewer than seven days before the finals game will not be considered.

WBA JUNIOR DOMESTIC

In Girls Under 18, players must have played in at least seven games at any point during the season to qualify for finals.
