Ivan Platenik set for game 250

He is a large part of the sustained success of the Waverley Falcons State Championship Men's program and this weekend Ivan Platenik reaches his 250 games milestone.

Platenik will play his 250th game when the Falcons take on Hawthorn Magic at Boroondara on Saturday night. Platenik is the ultimate unassuming go-to player always in the right place at the right time to get the job done for his team. With a career average of 24 ppg and 10rpg Platenik's Falcons have a 13-2 record in 2014 and again look like challenging for the Championship.

Waverley General Manger Mike Bullock had this to say about one of their programs biggest stars. "Ivan has been the backbone of our team for 10 seasons, no matter what the situation in any game, always gives 100%."
