After an intense weekend, extending through to Tuesday Night, the Junior Grand Finals, and with them the Summer 13/14 season, are all wrapped up.

The stadium was electric all day on Saturday with throngs of spectators coming through the doors to watch four courts of Grand Final action. Every junior club was represented on the day, with some especially encouraging performances from a range of clubs.

After a whopping 37 Grand Finals were played on Saturday, the older bridgade took centre stage on Sunday with the Under 18 Grand Finals, before the Tuesday Girls had their moment in the spotlight on Tuesday evening.

Congratulations to all teams who made it through to Grand Finals. Of course, it is a tough gig making it all the way through to the big dance, and all our junior teams who battled hard during the season have done a terrific job.

We are all aware that there are changes on the horizon for our Junior Competitions, as it is more important now than ever to do everything possible to foster the growth and increasing quality of our young teams. We very much look forward to the Winter 2014 season.
