Among the works done at the stadium during the summer maintenence program, were the new painted walls on Courts 5 and 6, and the resurfaced floors on Courts 1-4.
After a couple of nights of competition we are already seeing the affects of incorrect footware on the courts. The resurfacing of our courts is an important process in providing a quality playing environment and is done at considerable expense to the association. The association will not tolerate anyone running around on these courts in shoes which may damage to floor.
Please ensure all players in your teams are in correct footware with non-marking soles, and if you have spectators at your game who wish to go on the court or shoot around during breaks in the game, they also need to be in suitable footware. Referees will be monitoring this and Referee Supervisors may ask anyone causing damage to our courts to leave the playing area or venue entirely.
Thank you for helping keep our venue in top condition.
