Important Notice All Competitions

SENIORS
Previously, W.B.A. has advertised and emphasized to teams the importance of registering players officially and ensuring team lists are correct. If a player is unregistered, they will not receive statistics/qualifications and are not covered by insurance incase of injury and cannot play finals. Please review qualification lists that are advertised in foyer, and call the stadiums administration office during business hours for any queries.

JUNIORS
Junior teams are reminded to communicate all queries through ‘club delegates.’ Finals queries need to be addressed at least a week prior to finals taking place.

JAMWARE ONLINE
Jamware Online provides ‘digital services’ that allows statistical data to be recorded for all players. This additional information during the 12 month introductory period was free to access all stats available through the ‘statistics vault’ on the public HD website.  However, from this point forward if players wish to create and access a new account there will be a $2.50 charge. This charge is submitted online using a credit card in a secure form directly with ‘Jamware.’ Existing accounts will not be charged and players can continue to access the ‘statistics vault’ for free until the end of the season.

Players and parents can also choose to receive SMS game time reminders at a desired time before their game. Reminders are 50c a week and can be turned on at the home page of the Waverley Basketball Website.

If you choose not to sign up for the ‘statistics vault’ the public website has access to fixtures, ladders, downloads, recourses, news and other important items for junior and senior domestic competitions. Visit www.waverleybasketball.com and browse the menu items.

GAME START REMINDER
W.B.A. requires all games to commence accordingly to their scheduled time.  Referees have been advised to use the stadiums LCD clocks displayed on the wall of court 1 and 5 as the official time.  Teams are reminded to pay attention to these clocks prior to their game, so that all players can be on the court ready to start the game when the clock displays the scheduled start time.  The stadium needs all teams to be ready to help the overall night and future games begin on time successfully.

If you believe there will be a colour clash then the first named team (team on the left of the screen) gets priority. It is the team on the right of the screen which needs to organize alternative tops BEFORE the scheduled start time.

UNIFORM REMINDER
Numbers  0, 00, 1, 2 & 3 cannot be used in WBA’s competitions. Only FIBA regulation numbers must be used.          These are:      4 – 15, 20 – 25, 30 – 35, 40 – 45 and 50 – 55.
