The Waverley Falcons entered the Big V Awards Night with numerous nominations, and there was plenty of success for the Falcons on the night.

The Falcons number one Game Day Manager Andrew Seabrook received league-wide recognition when he received the Big V Volunteer of the Year Award. Andrew has been the Falcons Game Day Manager for many years, and this year he took his usual fine work to another level as he headed the Waverley Big V Livestreaming program 'Falcons TV'. The livestreaming was a massive success in its first year, and clearly the rest of the league took notice.

Other award winners on the night for the Falcons were Ivan Platenik (SCM Leading scorer), Sedale Threatt Jnr. (SCM Golden Hands), Deng Adel (VYCM Leading scorer and All Star Guard) and Referee Campbell Fraser (Division 2 Men Referee of the Year).
