Over the next week, WBA will be following up with all teams that currently have outstanding Walkover fines. Teams that give Walkovers are expected to pay their fine at their following game.  Due to byes and other circumstances, we understand this sometimes cannot happen and therefore we allow two weeks from the night of the walkover.  Fines are either $33 if notified 48 hours leading up to the game, or $55 if notified late or not at all.

 

Teams with outstanding walkover fines will be sent an invoice, which will need to be settled by the listed due date. Failure to pay outstanding walkover fines by the due date will result in the team forfeiting ladder points for games played while the fine is outstanding.  Teams that pay late will not be able to reclaim ladder points after the outstanding amount is paid.

 

Moving forward, all teams must be aware WBA will enforce the walkover fine process more diligently, and from this point forward if the fine is not paid within 14 days, teams will display results as a forfeit for any games played while the fine is outstanding. 

 

Payment of these fines is by cash or cheque only, and can be made at the door booth during competition, or at the office during business hours.
