The Waverley Falcons Under 18 Girls/Big V Championship Women played a provincial representative team from China on Friday Night in the first taste of International Basketball at the Nest since the English National team played the Falcons in the lead up to the 2006 Commonwealth Games.

In a quality affair, the scores remained close for most of the game before the Chinese team pushed the margin out late in the contest.

A few of the Big V Championship Falcons girls strenghtened an already quality Under 18 Girls team, who are performing well in Under 18 VC on Friday Nights.

It was a quality night of Basketball and a good experience not only for the players and coaches, but the fans of Waverley Basketball who enjoyed a special brand of Basketball.
