The Waverley Falcons strong start to the VYCM season has gained recognition from the league, with standout guard Deng Adel named Player of the Month for March.

Adel had some huge games during the Falcons opening stretch, logging some massive numbers as the Falcons got off to a 4-0 start.

In further good new for the team, coach Eric Minerve was awarded the Coach of the Month nod after the Falcons unbeaten start.

The VYCM Falcons play at home on Sunday, April 7 against the Geelong Supercats, 2pm at Waverley Stadium.
