The Waverley Falcons put on a clinic for a group of young students from the remote Kalkaringi School on Friday.

The school is located in the Northern Territory, the nearest town is Katherine, which is as far from home as most of the students had been. The students, 17 of them, took the trip to Melbourne as a reward for good attendance and behaviour.

Senior Women's Coach Elias Palioyiannis, Big V Women's player Caitlin Hindle and Junior Coach Kelly Rankin took the session.

The youngsters we rewarded for their performance on the court with a showbag that inlcuded Drink Bottles, shoelaces, keyrings and socks courtesy of Waverley Basketball, and tops and Basketballs from Basketball Victoria.

It was a very positive experience for all involved and something Waverley Basketball was proud to be a part of.
