Youth League 2 Mens Dominating Weekend

Waverley 90 dft Werribee 70
AS FIRST played last on the table, both Waverley and Werribee followed the script.
Game MVP Andrew Kelly scored 22 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and had two steals as the Waverley Falcons came away from their long road trip to Werribee with a 90-70 win.
It was a dominant performance at both ends of the floor for the Falcons who piled on the points and locked down the Devils defensively.

For the Devils, who have struggled to find their way in the competition this season, Craig Wood and Phil Neckers has 12 points apiece.
Game MVP: Andrew Kelly (Waverley Falcons)

Waverley 111 dft Keilor 70
IN WHAT was supposed to be a danger game for the Waverley Falcons, Keilor were simply out-classed as they travelled to Waverley Basketball Stadium on Sunday afternoon and winless in two weekend games.

As Waverley ran their offence, Brad Kelleher (15 points, 10 assists, zero turnovers) picked apart the Keilor defence. When he wasn’t making shots, he was finding open players. Andrew Kelly and Elias Polioyiannis, recipients of the majority of Kelleher’s assists, scored 17 and 15 points respectively.

For the away side, James Wright scored 20 points while Andrew Freeman scored 14 points on just six shot attempts.

Waverley, whose streak now extends to 10 games, sent a menacing message to the league with a couple of dominant wins over the weekend.
Game MVP: Bradley Kelleher (Waverley Falcons)
