The Under 14.3 girls have been working hard with coach Brendon Gordon to develop their game. The hard work is already beginning to show dividends as the team competed well at the tournament. Team Manager Leanne Ching gave us this round-up.
The 14.3 girls team, coached by Brendon Gordon, played some great basketball over the weekend to finish top of their pool and play in the finals. They lost a hard fought semi final to Keilor 2, who went on to win the tournament.
The 14.3 girls team is a bottom age development team. The tournament provided the perfect opportunity for the girls to work on the team plays they have been learning at training, before the next round of grading begins. They all put in a great effort and improved in every game. They are looking forward to a great year and their next tournament is the Adelaide Easter Classic.
