IN what can only be described as an annihilation, Waverley travelled to Warrnambool and collected a 67-point victory.
The Seahawks were no match for the firing Falcons, who posted 25 points to the home-side’s five in the first six minutes.
The Falcon’s attack was led by an impressive Ivan Platenik who hit a stunning 51 points at 77 per cent from the field, including 17 from 22 at the free-throw line.
Platenik also managed to pull-in eight boards, dish off five assists and collect five steals during the sixth versus eleventh clash.
Other notable scorers for the visitors included a double double from James Anderson (26 points, 11 boards), a solid 23 points and nine boards from Matt Burston as well as an additional three players in double figures.
For Warrnambool, it was John Morris (23 points, nine boards) and Shaun Gleeson (24 points, six boards) who managed some brilliance in their crushing loss.
