Congratulations to our Waverley Big V Senior teams for an outstanding performance during the month of April. Every senior team has been rewarded with their efforts by somebody headlining in the Big V Player and Coach of the Month Awards for April.

SCM Coach of the Month
Eric Minerve (Waverley Falcons)
The quietly confident Minerve continues to drive the Falcons towards a back to back championship with an undefeated month. Waverley went 4-0 in this period despite not having Dillon or Blennerhassett to further bolster their line-up.
SCW Coach of the Month
Bianca White (Waverley Falcons)
Without the any names like Hibbert, Verdagen, Carr or the like, Bianca White has churned out a huge April going 4-0 in a dominant month. Wins over Bulleen, Diamond Valley, Hume City and of course Eltham, this one was a no-brainer.
SYCW Coach of the Month
Elias Palioyiannis (Waverley Falcons)
The Falcons really haven’t been challenged whatsoever in the month of April, winning by huge margins in an undefeated month. Palioyiannis has got these girls putting the ball in the hoop like no other with an average score of 92 points.
SYC1M Player of the Month
Deng Deng (Waverley Falcons)
The Falcons were super-hot in April and its all thanks to the human highlight reel- Deng Deng. The 6’9 prodigy posted 21 points, 13 boards, 2 steals and 2 swats a contest with plenty of defensive focus on him each week.
