Waverley has split the grades on a Tuesday night Girls Fixture into B and C, and we’re seeking players to join our competition…
Unfortunately, our junior clubs could not enter another complete team, so we are seeking expressions of interested for 11/12/13 year old girls to play Tuesday night basketball?
A brand new team, entered under the Waverley banner will be formed from interest from any girls of this age. Perhaps your club could not provide a playing environment for a couple of girls as there were not enough players to enter an entire team... Well now here's your chance!! The girls can form a C Grade team with other players in the same situation, individually managed and possibly coached by WBA guru Shane Palmer with new colours and team names. Training will be determined once the team is selected based on availability.
Please contact Shane at the Waverley office to register your interest. Games are played at 5.45pm Tuesday nights, and will hopefully commence on Tuesday 9th November and run through to the end of term 1 next year.
Alternatively, if any teams from other locations or days wish to play on a Tuesday night at 5.45pm please contact Jan to register your interest and we can include you on the fixture.
