What a difference a week makes – the Bulleen Boomers have turned around last week’s Round 17 thumping at the hands of the Waverley Falcons to return a 15-point answer, in the first week of the finals.
Last week’s damage-player, Julie Brookhouse, was held to just four points as Bulleen put together a big second half to claim Game One.
Candice Rogers (17 points, 10 rebounds) was too powerful for Waverley, with Lauren Jeffers (10 points) helping out.
Brooke McKay (19 points, nine rebounds) was the only shining light for Waverley.
