It was the efforts of Waverley’s Laura Thomas which saw the Falcons’ take a tight Round Eight clash and earn herself POTW honours.
Thomas was pivotal in the Falcons’ clash against Diamond Valley, posting a game-high 18 points at a very credible 88 per cent from the field and pulled in an additional nine rebounds.
In a see-sawing game, it was Thomas’ accuracy which helped the home side to secure a six point win (70-64).
Thomas’ Round Eight efforts see her season averages sit at 7.9ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.2apg.
