Waverley 85 dft Geelong 67
With a fairly convincing 18 point win over the Cats on Saturday night, Waverly, which has now won 5 of its last 6, moves to 8-3 on the season and just one game back on second-placed Sherbrooke.
An efficient shooting night from Brad Kelleher, who went 12-18 from the field on his way to 31 points, saw the Falcons easily run away with the win at home.
Elias Polioyiannis, who has scored in double-figures in every game this year, was held scoreless by the Geelong defence in an 0-14 shooting night, which included 0-12 from long range.
The Cats, who failed to put up much of a fight on the offensive end, were led by 11 from Nathan Pigott and 10 from Brett Seljac.
