WBA extends its congratulations to their phenomenal NBL1 men’s team manager Greg Dean who received an Australian Police Medal on the weekend.

The Governor General released the following official citation:
During his 30-year career Senior Sergeant Greg Dean has maintained a strong focus and commitment, both on and off duty to bettering the lives of current Victoria Police employees and veterans suffering mental health injuries.  In 2018, as a Churchill Fellow, he researched early intervention in mental illnesses for serving police and peer support for police veterans.  He is currently part of the Emergency Services Foundation championing the establishment of best practice in mental health retreat programs for Victoria Police employees.
