Boxandice are the company who will be handling all our Waverley photos and have worked with us at events such as the Eltham / Dandenong tournament on Australia Day Weekend. They specialize in team photos, as well as action shots. You can view their basketball images at www.boxandice.com.au
Boxandice photographers will be in attendance at all Saturday domestic games on 28th February 2009. The photographers will be easily recognizable in yellow vests, and they all have had current police checks. The images will be IMMEDIATELY available at the conclusion of every game in the club room beside the canteen. There will be multiple laptops set up for viewing by the families and players and if anybody wishes to purchase these shots, you may do so on the day or arrangements can be made through boxandice.
Basketball Victoria bylaws state that anybody taking photos of a basketball game MUST inform both teams coaches and managers and ensure they are aware of their presence and purpose. (this applies for all and any games) If anybody objects to this, then the photographer / parent / manager or whomever is taking photos at that game must cease.
For this specific day, and all other events at which boxandice attend, Waverley’s responsibility is to inform all patrons of the photographer’s attendance, so that they do not need to approach every coach and manager at every game throughout the day when they are filming.
We need you to assist us with advertising the above and any objections from your members, those members need to advise Waverley.
