The Falcons Youth League Men toppled Werribee on the weekend to book a spot in the best-of-three Grand Final series against the Sunbury Jets.

Game 1 of the series takes place this Saturday Night at Waverley, tipoff at 8:30pm.

It has been a very impressive season from the young Falcons, who have dropped only a handful of games along the way. When they last played the Jets the Falcons posted a very impressive 22 point win, however there's absolutely no guarentees of that sort of result this time as the Jets have had a hugely successful season, finishing in top spot.

For the Falcons, good results have come on the back of a good spread of contributors, with the likes of Cody Frederickson, Nathan Molloy, Dylan Larkin and Bol Jok all leading the way at times during the season. They'll need all their big names, and the depth right down the list, to be on their game.

It promises to be a great opening to the series, with the two best teams throughout the season going head to head.

Don't forget we also have our State Champ teams playing home finals this week, in fact the State Championship Women also play against Sunbury in a qualifying final on Saturday at 6:30pm, creating a unique Waverley vs Sunbury Double Header, while the Men take on McKinnon in an elimination final on Sunday at 2pm. Either way, clear the schedule because this weekend is a massive one for the Falcons.
