Falcons hold spots in top four as home stretch nears

Both the Falcons State Championship Men and Women sit in their respective top four as we move past the half way point of the Big V season.

Despite a tough double header at Ringwood on Saturday, the Falcons have been on the march of late and look primed for a big run towards finals.

For the Falcons Men, imports Desmond Simmons and Brandon Beasley have been supported by the traditional firm of Chris Arkell and Brad Kelleher, while late inclusion Jason Reardon is making his mar as well.

The Women have been led by WNBL duo Tegan Cunningham and Kelly Bowen, in addition to steady contributions from the other core players.

With the Queen's Birthday weekend break coming up, the Falcons will no doubt be at their best this weekend when they host the Eltham Wildcats in a massive Saturday Night Double Header.

The Wildcats Women boast some WNBL talent of their own, while the Wildcats Men had a nailbiting win over the Falcons earlier this season. This promises to be one of the big nights of this Big V Season at the Falcons Nest.
