After a sustained run of wins the Falcons Men have finally snared a spot in the top two ahead of the biggest game of the season this Sunday.
The Corio Bay Stingrays visit the Falcons Nest for a top two clash with so much on the line, and don't these two teams just have a stack of recent history.
Earlier this season the Stingrays got the better of the Falcons in Geelong, in a game the Falcons felt may have just gotten away from them. Last season the Falcons beat the Stingrays in a late regular season game on an off-balance Brad Kelleher three pointer as time expired. The Stingrays got revenge a couple of weeks later, eliminating the Falcons in an absolute thriller on their home floor.
With just two rounds after this until finals, they literally don't come much bigger than this.
The Falcons Women have also firmed their place in the top six with another successful weekend on the back of some back performances from WNBL player Tegan Cunningham. The Women are on the road again this week looking to continue their winning form.
With the seaosn winding down you won't get too many more chances catch the Falcons Youth teams either, the VYC Men play ahead of the big Waverley vs Corio Bay game this Sunday.
