Following a weekend of steady rain, the playing surface at Waverley succumed to the atmospheric pressure on Sunday evening, and a number of games had to be cancelled due to moisture on the courts.

This is an unusual but unavoidable occurance when conditions are as such. WBA apologises for any inconvenience casued by the cancellation of games, however the safety of players and officials remains the number one priority in situations such as this.

The entire round of Senior Mixed games has been cancelled from fixtures, as the majority of games were not played.

Junior games which were cancelled will be judged to be 2-2 draws, with results from all games which were played to stand as normal.

WBA will continue to monitor courts to ensure they are in safe condition, and with improved conditions today we are confident midweek games will continue as scheduled.
