The end of junior grading is approaching and those who have been through the process before know and understand what a busy process it is.
The WBA appreciates the support and understanding of teams during the grading phase, both with the occasional changes to game times and oppositions, and the tolerance with often lopsided grading results.
Here's a snapshot of where we are at and what to expect over the next couple of weeks:
Tuesday Girls grading is now complete and full season fixtures are available on the website. Under 16 and Under 18 Girls competitions have remained individual competitions in their own right. Under 16 Girls will operate two sets of finals at the conclusion of the season.
Under 14 Girls have been split into three sections based on grading results. This sections will be reviewed again after a couple of weeks to determine if any further changes need to be made.
Saturday Juniors, Saturday Girls and Sunday Juniors all have two grading rounds remaining. Small changes may be made over the next couple of weeks where required to assist with the reviews at the end of grading, however these will be kept to a minimum and teams or clubs will be notified if they are affected by any change.
As usual, despite our best efforts to get in contact with teams, the only way to be complete sure of any changes is to check online fixtures before the round commences.
Following the conclusion of the final grading round, WBA will be working hard to have new fixtures available with time to prepare for the next round of games. It is crucial that any queries at this time are directed through the clubs to avoid delays to the re-grading and fixture process.
