History was made last Friday night at Dandenong Stadium for the Waverley Falcons.  Two boys teams made the Victorian Championship Finals, the U/16's and U/18's.  

The U/16-1 Boys coached by Anthony Dimis and Peter Embury faced reigning champions Dandenong Rangers which was the rematch from the Classic Grand Final months earlier.

Waverley got out to a strong lead in the first quarter to lead by only single digits at the break.  Dandenong fought hard and the match was a close contest the entire game with Waverley only winning by six points. 

Game MVP was awarded to Lin Jong and further stats of the match will be posted as soon as they are received.

Congratulations to the U/16-1 boys for achieving the 'TRIPLE CROWN' by winning the Eltham Dandenong Tournament, National Junior Classic and the Victorian Championship Flag.
