Junior Finals are fast approaching and it is one of the busiest and most vibrant times on the WBA Calendar.
With some much going on during finals, it is important that teams and families are aware of the most important information.
Below is the key finals information as it affects your competition:
UNDER 8 COMPETITIONS (JUNIORS AND GIRLS):
Under 8 teams will play a final round on Semi Final day, March 5th. Players will be presented a participation award in the Club Room after their game. Fixtures for this round will be made available shortly, and will be arranged to give teams competitive games where possible.
FINALS QUALIFICATION FOR JUNIOR COMPETITIONS:
In all Junior Competitions, players must be credited for at least five regular season games (grading games do not count towards qualification). Byes and games where the opposition forfeits count as a game for all registered players.
Qualification requests need to be made through the club, and lodged with the WBA Office prior to the final round of regular season games. Requests will only be granted in exceptional circumstances to enable teams enough players to take the court.
TUESDAY GIRLS:
Semi Finals: March 15th
Grand Finals: March 22nd
All sections will be a top 4 finals. Draft schedules will be made available prior to finals, however these are subject to change depending on final ladder positions.

SUNDAY JUNIORS (UNDER 16 & UNDER 18)
Semi Finals: March 6th
Grand Finals: March 20th
All sections will be a top 4 finals (except combined sections). Draft schedules will be made available prior to finals, however these are subject to change depending on final ladder positions.

SATURDAY GIRLS (UNDER 10 & UNDER 12)

All sections will be a top 4 finals (except combined sections). Schedules will be published by 5pm Tuesday, March 1st. No draft schedule will be available as the program is heavily affected by compatibility requests which are subject to final ladder positions.
SATURDAY JUNIORS (UNDER 10 - UNDER 14)
Semi Finals: March 5th
Grand Finals: March 19th
Sections with nine teams or less will be a top 4 finals (except combined sections), any sections with 10 or more teams will operate a standard top 4 finals for positions 1-4, and a reserve finals for positions 5-8. Schedules will be published by 5pm Tuesday, March 1st. No draft schedule will be available as the program is heavily affected by compatibility requests which are subject to final ladder positions.
