Junior Domestic Set to Commence

The Summer 2015/16 Junior Domestic season is ready to tip off with a record number of team entries across our three days.

With around 350 teams entered in WBA Junior Domestic this season, it is shaping up as a sensational summer with plenty of excitment.

The fun begins on Tuesday Night as the girls hit the court to signal the start of the new season. WBA has especially planned for the cool change to come through in time for the start of the games.

The weekend will then the start of the new season for our Saturday and Sunday teams.

The grading rounds can often be a strange and confusing time, but here's a few points that may help you understand what it's all about:

- Teams are placed according to the entries from the clubs. In some cases, numbers dictate that sections may need to be combined, or split, and in one case both.

- Clubs are contacted when fixture changes occur, however it is strongly reccomended that all teams double check their fixtures before the weekend to ensure they are aware of their time and court. WP = Wattle Park Primary School, ASB = Ashburton Primary School.

- The results of grading games do not count towards the regular season ladder.

- Teams will be reviewed during and after grading based on their performances and feedback from club officials (not coaches and parents from individual teams).

- Changes will be made at the end of grading based on these reviews, new grades will be formed and full season fixtures published.
