Championship Double Header as Finals Approach

With just four rounds remaining before finals, the Falcons Nest is sure to be rocking this Sunday with a massive Championship Double Header.

The Hume City Broncos will journey down to take on the Falcons in two big time games.

The Women play at 12:30pm in a rematch of a game which was decided by just one point earlier this season. The Broncos have won in State Championship Women the past two seasons and will be bringing their very best to the nest with spots within the top four still to be settled.

The Falcons women all but sewed up a finals spot with a tough win over Eltham last week, and will relish the chance to try and keep their momentum going against one of the top teams this week.

Following the women's game, the men will take to the court at 2:30pm with plenty of big names going head to head. The Falcons were slick in their 40 point win over Whittlesea last week, and are still hoping to make a run at a top two finish before the regular season draws to a close.

The Broncos are in the thick of finals contention as well and will be keen to grab a vital win against the Falcons in this one. Both teams have great inside players and electric shooters on the perimetre, so it should be a ripping game.

Get down to the Falcon Nest this week for what might be the best Double Header of the season thus far.
