The Queen's Birthday Weekend is upon us and that means many of our Junior Falcons teams will be up and about at the various tournaments taking place in the area.

CLASSIC

The Under 18.1 Boys have earned a spot at the Prestigous National Junior Classic after a very impressive first nine weeks in VC. The boys, coached by Alan Torcello, will have their work cut out for them taking on the nation's best teams, but it is always a great exeperiece and we wish them the best. 

Here are their pool games for anyone that wants to get down to State Basketball Centre and support the boys:

Saturday June 6:

11:10am State Basketball Centre Court 3 WAVERLEY vs CENTRAL DISTRICTS (SA)

4:30pm State Basketball Centre Court 6 WAVERLEY vs NORTHEN SUBURBS (NSW)

Sunday June 7

8:30am State Basketball Centre Court 3 WAVERLEY vs DANDENONG

There will be finals/placement games later in the weekend so if you head to the website over the weekend you'll see when those are.

NUNAWADING

There will be a swell collection of Falcons teams getting around the Nunawading tournament at the same time. This is a tournament which caters for all teams from VC through the regional and domestic.

The Falcons will again be out in numbers at the local stadiums used in the tournament, and hopefully we will get to hear of some success from the weekend.
