Waverley State Championship Women Forward Carly Mijovic has been named the Player of the Month for April.

Carly has been a huge asset to the Falcons so far this season, after playing WNBL for the Adelaide Lightning over the Summer.

Here is what the Big V had to say about Carly's performance in April:

"Compiling averages across April of 22.7pts, 9.3rbs, 3 treys and 1.3ast per game, Mijovic edged out Colleen Planeta for the POTM award. Since joining fresh off a WNBL season with Adelaide, Mijovic has got better with every game, settling in at Waverley and delivering the goods that most other teams are simply finding to difficult to stop."
